Plasma TV repair from only $90

Plasma TVs can have a variety of faults.

If the set has taken longer and longer to start and eventually fails to start, this can mean that the internal power supply board is failing. Repair of the power supply is often possible on site with conventional parts and is quite economical.

In other instances, when the sound is still being produced but the picture is totally black or dark and barely visible, this can mean that one or more of the screen driver boards has failed. In some plasma TV models, failure of these boards can also stop the set starting up at all. This generally requires replacement of the board(s) and can vary in cost greatly, depending on brand and model.

Expert opinion is required in all cases to determine the actual extent of the problem. The worst case is over-estimating the cost due to not getting the proper technical advice, resulting in the TV subsequently being written off.
